The Green Berets

John Wayne stars as Colonel Mike Kirby. Costarring, Jim Hutton, Bruce Cabot, and David Janssen. This movie was first based about the Vietnam War. John Wayne made the movie to support our forces in Vietnam at the time, 1968.

Col. Kirby is seen here with Captain Daniels, the are watching a briefing for civilians, on the capabilities of the Green Beret.

Col. Kirby and CPT Daniels are welcomed into Vietnam by Col. Morgan, who which Kirby will be replacing.

Col. Kirby and his men, are seen loaded up on a chopper and taking off. They are headout to Camp A107.

Col. Kirby is welcomed into Camp A107, by the outgoing camp commander.

Col. Kirby is seen here, welcoming and explaining to the Seabees Commander, about what their mission is.

Col. Kirby, Cpt. Daniels, and Cpt. Nim, are talking to a village chieftain. They are trying to convince him to move his village into the camp for their safety and to reenforce the camp.

Col. Kirby and Col. Morgan are intreputed during a special meeting. They have been notified about a enemy buildup around Camp A017.

Col. Kirby is seen here, with Master Sergeant Muldoon, leading the Mike Force into the camp. The camp is under Vietcong attack.

Puff the Magic Dragon, is coming in for an attack on the Vietcong, who occupy the camp now.

The Green Berets have reoccupied the camp. Col. Kirby and Cpt. Daniels are discussing want to do now.

Col. Kirby is seen overwatching a detail that is preparing to have a Vietcong general officer, airlifted out of the area. His was just previously kidnapped by the Green Berets.

Col. Kirby is seen here, he is starring at one of his men, who just killed, when he was slammed into some pungy sticks. The kidnapping operation, already has cost him over half of his men.
