| One of Vandervoort's officers is briefing him on the taking of ST Mere Elgise by the Battalion's X.O. (Executive Officer) and F Company. |  |
 | Vandervoort and the rest of the Battalion have entered into ST Mere Elgise. Vandervoort is scolding his X.O. for leaving dead soldiers hanging off the telephone posts. He has just given a swift order to cut them down, no matter what. |
